I have been recently contacted by the Dean of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland, regarding the possibility of advanced placement in the College for some foreign/ immigrant docs. If someone has not been able to pass USMLE and other Board exams, may not have sufficient English proficiency and would like to still become a Physician, they may have an option of integrating into the college life and become podiatrists.
The college may be able to put an ad/ banner on the RAMA website, or do something else to promote itself among the Russian-speaking medical community. They may help educating the traditionally-oriented MDs about podiatry as a profession as well. Anyway, let me know what you think.
