Default ACT/SAT prep

To the parents of high school students:

I am sure a lot of you have experience with your kids taking ACT/SAT. Please, share it here. Useful tips etc. Did you use Kaplan for the test prep? How to get the best score?

My daughter took Testmasters courses for SAT. She did well so she didn't have to take the ACT. According to her, Testmasters is pretty commonly recommended. She did not take Kaplan.
